Happy Birthday To Abes!

Amidst of all of this birthing, knitting, and non-sleep Ubs turned 3 on Monday!

Funny You Should Ask, Ms. McWeasel

The green hat in question was, indeed, handmade by yours truly. Tis a feast for the eyes, no? Should your peepers remain hungry, behold the tiny blue sweater crafted by my amazingly talented self.*

*Okay, I had help...my talent is but new and I must express my gratitude to Grace of Loop fame as well as Ellen for suggesting the class and Mathild for her willingness to help troubleshoot on the fly. You know what they say, it takes a village.

Libby and Elijah are Home!

Libby brought our new son home on Wednesday. Both are doing really well; in fact, Libby's taken Elijah for a couple of strolls around the neighborhood today.

Eli continues to sleep all day. He kept us both up last night, sleeping 1/2 stints until 5:30 AM or so.

There must be a physiological trigger that turns the brain off from remembering just how long the first few months of parenting a newborn can be; you definitely live the full 24 hour cycle during this period, and then forget how disoriented this makes you. Before you know it, you're talking about popping another one out. I feel duped and want to sue.

Elijah's Here!

Most of you have probably already received an email, but if you haven't this will redeem me for "hacking" into Libby's blog to leave this post:

Elizabeth got her birth on!

On Monday, March 12th at 1:48 PM we welcomed to the world a healthy (and plump) Elijah David Williams born 8 lbs. 4.8 oz at 21 inches. Both he and Elizabeth are doing well, are beautiful, and are resting snuggly at Pennsylvania Hospital.

Abe says he isn't buying some story about a stork.

Whoooooohoooooooo!

Getting induced tomorrow and should have the little person in my arms rather than in my belly Monday. Oh joy! Can. Not. Wait.
