Detroit baby, studied geophysics at Eastern Michigan University as a 20 something, moved to Portland Oregon and did post-bacc studies in philosophy, moved to Ohio to study philosophy at Kent State University, lived in Alaska for a summer and landed in Philadelphia where I'm officed-up.

suckage. ours was out for about 3 hours this morning, and I didn't think I'd make it to lunch. don't know how you guys are managing!

Not to much managing as surviving. I hope tomorrow is brisk outside b/c there doesn't seem to be any movement toward correcting the problem.
I think the work day should be dismissed! I am new to your blog, but I am fascinated by all the places you have lived.
