Detroit baby, studied geophysics at Eastern Michigan University as a 20 something, moved to Portland Oregon and did post-bacc studies in philosophy, moved to Ohio to study philosophy at Kent State University, lived in Alaska for a summer and landed in Philadelphia where I'm officed-up.

OK, yes, a big deal for sure, but can we all just pause a moment and admire the HAT worn by the King Of Nepal (as pictured in yesterdy's NYT article on this event, which I must admit I skimmed because I couldn't take my mind off the hat in the photo...)
