The Cadillac of Pencils

Unequivocally, Ticonderoga. Don't even try it. From sharpening to holding, from lead "flow", to least smudge factor the Ticonderoga is the pinnacle of pencils. So you won't find it odd that I should wonder how such a fine writing instrument is crafted. I give to you, the creation of the one, the only, the Ticonderoga.

My favorite part "writing cores" and "ferrule."

And so who's the biggest nerd you for blogging about the cadillac of pencils, or me for geeking out on the manufacturing process?

I think it's you.

This is another thing that makes me glad you're my friend: who else can become passionate about pencils?

Also, "Cadillac of Pencils" is a great album title.

If one be a nerd that immediately identifies quality of the highest order than that I shall be. Go me! And you for "ferrule" is, indeed, excellent.

Amy, you're the sweetest girl ever.
