Wed, Yell-yo, Gggren and Bue!
SK is out tonight, studying for his comprehensives (Suckah!), leaving Ubs and I to trip the light fantastic. First, a breakfast bar and goldfish for dinner followed by a quick call to Nana, a game of tackle football, a warm bath and AFTER THE BATH, mind you, finger painting! To bed 20 minutes late with paint infused pjs and a sigh, the child sleeps.
Me? I remember 35 minutes ago, an eternity from a moment I will hold as if it was today, every day for the rest of my life. Liquid color arranged in a cirlce of thimble-sized containers, tiny finger pointing, pausing, switching motion to another, "Yell-yo", back to the first "Bue!", darting at a diagonal towards "Ggren!" and the newest and most challenging "Wed!" I blink away a tear, thankful to have had this evening with Ubs. Lucky Libby.

Aaawww, such sweet thoughts... enjoy it truely because as they get older it happens less and less.
Those times are the best! Sarah and I spent 2 hours playing video games together on her Vsmile system. Loads of fun...most of it was in watching her.
